
Chitkara ACM Student Chapter in association with Techfest IIT Bombay,
Asia’s largest science and technology festival organised a workshop on
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS on 26th september,2020. ‘Mental Health is not a
destination but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you are going’.
Ms. Karuna Khitani from NGO Nami India who is a motivational mental health
speaker and has vast knowledge and experience in the field of mental wellbeing
was invited to share her boundless knowledge with the students and aware each
and every one about mental health. The workshop was attended by almost 180 students
as they knew how important the topic is for all of us and specially at present time
where we are facing outbreak of pandemic. The students sincerely put their doubts in
the chat-box and Ms. Karuna answered most of them very efficiently, calmly and in an
innovative manner. It was indeed a superb workshop and ACM team successfully and patiently
managed the queries of the students and lead to one more successful event.
